Our mission is to provide the City of Vancouver and the Lower-Mainland with our cost-effective yet sustainable service and in so doing, strengthen the movement towards sustainability that the world is currently undergoing. Horizon Eco Builders Inc. is a licenced, insured and WCB protected business.

Our Story

Founded in the spring of 2019 Horizon Eco Builders Inc. is the first of its kind - a home-renovation company that can bring its clients a top quality service that is sustainable, innovative and healthy at an affordable price. With our first three years of existence spent strengthening and developing industry relations and refining our product, Horizon Eco Builders is now primed to become one of the major players in the home-renovation industry in Vancouver.

Meet the Team

Co-Founder

Simon Druart

Simon, inspired by sustainable initiatives due to his upbringing in Europe, studied mechanical engineering and design. His exposure to innovative sustainable building techniques during travels ignited his passion for construction in 2009. Focusing on eco-friendly materials, he worked for a Passive House builder in Canada before co-founding Horizon Eco Builders with Thomas. He obtained Project Manager Professional certification in 2023.

Co-Founder

Thomas DuBoyce

Thomas, a Montreal native, sought adventure on the west coast, finding carpentry as his creative outlet. Working as a commercial framer in 2015, he witnessed material wastage, sparking his interest in sustainable construction. Joining a high-efficiency builder in Vancouver, he founded Horizon Eco Builders in 2019, driven by a commitment to innovation in the industry. His journey embodies a quest for sustainable solutions.
